Huttoning (past tense-huttoned). the act (and method) of disproving pagan ‘facts’.
‘wow you really slew those sacred cows! you gave them a right huttoning’
IT IS NOT OKAY TO HAVE MUSIC AUTOPLAYING ON YOUR WEBSITE, INCLUDING YOUR TUMBLR PAGE.
DON’T DO IT OR BAPHOMET WILL HAVE TO HAVE A WORD WITH YOU
I usually feel the urge to box those people in the ears. Unless they’re cute. They have to be really really cute.
“At the Crossroads tells the stories of what happens when the Western Magical Tradition encounters the African Diaspora and Traditional religions, and vice versa. It is a mixing and a magic that speaks of a truly new world emerging.”
There’s more; follow the link. Anyway, I’m pretty excited about this thing, but I’m completely disappointed that SI will not be offering a paperback edition. However, considering the quality of materials going into both physical copies, one can see how making a paperback version just isn’t feasible. There will be an ebook edition, but I currently suck at transitioning to that form of media (I do have ebooks.. I also have physical copies of those books - YOU WOULD LOVE MY LIBRARY). For me, there’s also just something inherently “magical” about holding a physical copy of a book, any book (except for most textbooks), even fictitious works. Don’t get me wrong; ebooks are great for the practical sorcerer, especially when one is out in the field and needs quite a few reference materials on hand - just throw them on the Droid. Anyway, so I’m debating, “Do I shell out $100 for this thing?” I might. I just might.
Also, I either know or are familiar with a lot of the folks who have contributed to this thing, which makes it even more enticing. At the Crossroads is literally a compilation of the dudes whom I dig.
EDIT:
Bought it..
